The registration process for YSCL is easy with a registration fee of only Rs. 750. The interested candidates can register themselves online at www.ysclindia.com. The male candidates who are above the age of 12 years are eligible to take the part in The Biggest Cricket talent hunt - The Young Stars Cricket League. After the selection, a fee for the league matches needs to be deposited. The fee for playing at the State Level League is only Rs. 6000. The chance to play in YSCL is a ladder to yours success.
Trails will be held at various Stadiums and Ground across India in 23 states. The selection process involves the following age groups:
The selections take place with the vice of top rated cricketers and coaches from all over India. The selected candidate is promoted to the next level. This level is state level matches. The venues and selection dates for trials are posted on the official webpage. Even the candidates will be informed personally.
Around 900 players from a state will be selected from Phase 1. The shortlisted candidates from Phase 1 will be informed through calls and messages. Now, these candidates have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 6000. After selection, these candidates are entitled to play state level leagues. This league is played with 16 state teams which will have differnr age groups, under 14 years (players below the age of 14), Under 16 years (players below the age of 16), under 19 years (players below the age of 19), under 23 years (players below the age of 23),above 23 years (players above the age of 23). This will be the gateway to the National Level Auction League for the players. In national auctions, team owners bid for the players. Bollywood celebrities and corporate will bid for all those players who qualify for the auctions through their performance in the State Level League. Best players of the league will get international cricket tour on all expense paid basis.
